        "description": "We are seeking input from the market about how the provider of the transport solution can deliver an excellent service for one of our most vulnerable groups with a wide range of physical and sensory impairment. The service runs throughout the year with increased provision during the academic year. It is required twice a day with deadlines on pick-up, arrival, departure and drop-off. Due to the safeguarding and specific needs of the group there is a requirement for escorts on the majority of the provision; the logistics of this needs to be factored in. The provision of this service contributes to three of our four priorities: o Children - a great city to grow up in o Health - a great city to grow old in o Jobs and Skills - a great city to succeed in This means: o Our children and young people are able to realise their full potential through great education and training. o Our children and young people are confident about their own sense of identity. o Families are more resilient and better able to provide stability, support, love and nurture for their children. o Our children and young people have access to all the city has to offer. o Creating a healthier environment for Birmingham. o Promoting independence of all our citizens. o The development of a modern sustainable transport system that promotes and prioritises sustainable journeys.
