PHE believes that Qiagen are the providers of the EZ1 Advanced XL System which is a robotic workstation for automated purification of nucleic acids.This is the only automated extraction system extraction system that has met all the criteria by PHE Food Water & Environmental labs. The Qiagen EZ1 is the only automated extraction model on the market that includes a tube-based system (needed for sample traceability). PHE Food Water & Environmental (FWE) Labs require clean extraction of DNA and Automated systems allowing for reliable, consistent and safe way for purifying important rapid tests of Food, Water and Environmental samples.
