This design should demonstrate an upgraded and safe solution for passengers in time for the Euros and the longer-term commitment for upgrades to Witton station. In particular, the solution should mitigate the high number of pedestrians and passengers who occupy and block Witton Road post-event to improve the safety of travel through Witton on event days. This may include interventions at Aston and a complementary operating strategy across both stations",
