Following the standard open procedure timeline referenced in regulation 27 (2) of the PCR 2015 would not allow trading to commence by the 1st October 2016. The lead contracting authority for this tender is Northumberland Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust. The tender process and resulting framework agreement is managed by Inenco, acting as the agent for the central purchasing body. The framework is available for use by all National Health Service (NHS) organisations, and is also available to all current and future members of the central purchasing body. The framework is to cover call-off contracts made within England, Scotland and Wales, but excludes Northern Ireland. The framework agreement is four years in duration from the commencement date, anticipated to be during September 2016. It is envisaged that the final framework will be awarded to approximately 15 suppliers per lot in the following: Lot 1: Fixed electricity Lot 2: Fixed gas Bidders can bid on one or more lots. The estimated levels of expenditure over the framework period per lot are as follows: Lot 1: PS300,000,000 excluding VAT Lot 2: PS300,000,000 excluding VAT These values are estimates only.
