This framework is for the Supply and Fit of Lifts which includes: Stair Lifts (Curved and Straight), Through Floor Vertical Lifts, Hoists and Powered Lifting Platform Step Lifts (external use). The works will be funded via Disabled Facilities Grants which Sandwell Home Improvement Agency acting as an agent of the Council is responsible for the delivery of this service across all housing tenures. The Grants assist some of the most vulnerable members of the community to live independently by adapting their homes to meet their needs. Contractors will be required to carry out the entire works including: all related building work required in order to properly install the lift / lifting equipment, identify any alteration to existing services, equipment or the like, needed to be carried out in order to install the lift. To repair and decorate all surfaces disturbed by the installation to a standard to match the existing where practical and as determined by the Contracting Authority. This is confirmed by signing the Tender Declaration & Certificate of Bone Fide Tender which is attached to this advert as part of the declarations and certificates to be completed. The successful contractors must be able to issue an NICEIC Electrical Certificate of electrical installation alterations or equivalent at the point of practical completion and ensure works are compliant with current Building and Planning Regulation Legislation.
