Bury Council is seeking to appoint an experienced consultancy (or consultancy team) to prepare a comprehensive and aspirational Economic Strategy for Bury that will guide the Council's approach to delivering a sustainable, competitive, inclusive and resilient local economy that fulfils its growth potential and makes a significant contribution to Greater Manchester's wider economic strength over the next ten years. The scope of the requirement covers three key interrelated elements: i Baseline analysis; ii Strategy development; and iii Delivery Plan The contract will be for a period of approximately 6 months and is expected to commence October 2021.
