This Direct Award forms part of an agreed strategy for subsequent phases of work in Phase 2 as set out in the original tender. The tender indicated that further phases of work could be awarded through 2022, subject to the supplier's performance in the first phase of the project. With the performance criteria met in Phase 1, a series of Direct Awards will follow through 2022 to maintain continuity of service through to the production of National Highway's draft Strategic Business Plan.
