Over 2018 we are undertaking work to look at both the contractor and supplier side of procurement and by year end we will have: *a solid evidence base of what is procured locally and its value; *an understanding of where and why local procurement is successful - identifying local and national good practice case studies to improve the roll-out of successful initiatives; and *an action plan to increase local sourcing through agreed but ambitious targets.
