Patients subject to a restriction order, who typically wouldn't be granted leave by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) early in their recovery, can now access leave through the use of a GPS patient tracking Smart Tag. The current Smart Tag uses 3G network and additional indoor tracking including Wi-Fi. The Authority sought to upgrade the service from a 3rd generation 3G Smart Tag to a wearable 4G GPS Smart Tag with software that has the ability to monitor the exact location of patients on leave 24/7. Following a Direct Award process via the CCS G-Cloud 13 Framework Agreement (RM1557.13) under Lot 2 - Cloud Software, the three (3) year contract was awarded to Buddi Limited.",
