The MCA has adopted the ITIL framework which support and maintenance of the HEAT application is essential as it is the core product used to service both our customers and to record the location of physical hardware.CTMS own the IPR for HEAT which is the basis of the current service desk call logging solution. There are other suppliers with the same capabilities that can provide similar solutions but for the price we are being offered, the process of going to tender and the costs of implementation -the recommendation is to procure the support via CTMS as a single tender action fornext FY.",
