This approach also reduces the reliance upon Home to School Transport. Travel Training is a life skill that benefits individuals in achieving independence throughout their lives; enabling them to engage fully in universal services as well as enjoy and achieve a wider range of activities during and post formal education. Primarily, all pupils will be young people who have SEND who use Home to School Transport: The contract will commence on 1st September 2020 and be for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period up to, but not exceeding 2 years at the sole discretion of the Council.",
