        "description": "Suffolk County Council are currently out to tender for the provision of Key Stage 1&2 Alternative Education Provision . This tender is advertised as an open tender with negotiation, under the Light Touch Regime. For further information please see the ITT document. Procurement Policy Note 09/21 requires us to calculate the value of contracts inclusive of VAT, however we can advertise them exclusive of VAT. The advertised value here is PS10,000,000 exclusive of VAT. The deadline date for submissions of the tender is 10th November 2022. Please note late returns will NOT be permitted. The deadline for clarification questions is 21st October 2022 which must be generated via the correspondence option on the Suffolk Sourcing website. Suffolk County Council are seeking to commission a provider or providers to deliver an alternative provision offer across Suffolk for Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils from September 2023 initially for three years. This is split into 3 areas, South (Ipswich), West (Bury St Edmunds) and North (Lowestoft), with each area having 22 committed guaranteed places. Providers can apply for one or more lots.
