The aim of this service will be to work with the child/young person to enable them to work towards their individual objectives (outlined in their care plan) and aim to reduce the level of one to one support require; to enable them to access group-based provision. Short Break Services are an essential part of a continuum of support for parent/ carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They include leisure or educational activities out of school hours, at weekends, during school holidays, or during the evenings. The framework agreement was awarded on 23/03/23 on the basis of most economically advantageous using the methodology as outlined in the documentation. The value advertised is inclusive of both the initial contract term and the 24 month optional extensions.",
