The successful representative will have the expertise and experience to identify the right priority markets, and ability to devise the best local strategies to achieve effective market growth for British lamb and beef in the selected markets. The successful representative must reside or have a commercial office based in the Netherlands. The AHDB representative requirements for the selected markets include, but not limited to: - Liaise effectively with the UK-based AHDB Export team by regular telephone, email and face-to-face communication. This may require foreign travel to AHDB Head Office or major food events (e.g. SIAL Paris, Anuga) for meetings. The total number of face-to-face meetings, including at events, is expected to be a minimum of four per year - Build and maintain effective relationships with beef and lamb exporters, agents, representatives, importers, distributors, food service operators and retailers. As appropriate, work jointly with these contacts to successfully deliver promotional activities Estimated value is 84,000 EUROS per annum, approx PS75k POUNDS STERLING Initial contract is for 1 year with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 12 months each.
