        "description": "With a tapering government subsidy due to run out in 2023, the primary objective of the charity is to increase revenue to secure its future. Membership delivers over PS50m of the charity's income, with ticket sales from visitors; and secondary expenditure from retail outlets and cafes, supplying much of the balance. There is an increasing need to raise income from charitable donations. We have a good track record in securing support from the National Heritage Lottery Fund, and in soliciting donations from Grants and Trusts. We are now looking to appoint an agency to develop a strategy in order to form integrated public and Member fundraising appeals, and a strategy and materials to raise the level of income the charity receives from legacies from its membership base.
