Trinity School is a large school with approximately 1 700 pupils that tries to behave as if it were a very small one, with a 'village' feel and a big emphasis on the unique importance of each individual. The school has a vibrant and thriving community, with a strong sense of common purpose and a consistent focus on high standards. The main school has modern facilities and well-kept buildings. There is a separate sixth form centre located in the original Victorian school building. The school's cleaning services have been managed in-house for a number of years and the Client now wishes to put the service out to competitive tender to ensure that it receives best value. It is important to the Client that the successful Supplier works closely with the Client to maintain cleaning standards and provides support to the on-site cleaning team. Some of the cleaning staff have been with the school for a long time. Expressions of interest are invited from Suppliers who have experience of providing cleaning services to schools and who have the appropriate local resource to support the school cleaning service. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. Contract value approx. 540K GBP (3 years).
