        "description": "NHS Vale Royal CCG and NHS South Cheshire CCG, intend to tender for a Pain Management Service and wish to invite interested future providers to a Provider Engagement event. The service will assess all cases of Chronic Pain (pain lasting longer than 3 months) for whom GPs require further management advice with the intention of providing a clear management plan and appropriate support for both the patient and the GP. It is expected that the service will support patients to manage their chronic pain in the community whenever possible. A key component of the service will be the ability to assess and treat patients within a multidisciplinary model having local access to a range of disciplines and high quality interventions that can deal with the physical, psychological, social and behavioural needs of patients with chronic pain. Initially the focus will be MSK conditions (including neurological) with a view to expanding the service beyond. A provider engagement event has been planned for Friday 21st July 2017 from 9:00am until 12:00noon in Nantwich. Details further in this advertisement.
