The 2-storey brick building requires demolishing as part of the main scheme to allow an additional car parking plot to be constructed for the new Cornwall Council 'Chy Trevail' offices. A demolition asbestos survey has been carried out by Cormac, the report for which identifies some asbestos containing materials (mainly present around pipe lagging) which will require removing under license as part of the Subcontract Works, prior to Demolition. The works will also require a soft strip of the service tunnel running underneath the building, which will be within a confined space.",
