The contract is to run from 01 April 2017 to the 31 March 2020. The Department for Transport (\"DfT\") has awarded PS1.25 million to the Authority in 17/18-19/20 from its Access Fund, in order to deliver economic growth and carbon reduction outcomes through sustainable transport initiatives. The programme will inspire residents and visitors to build active, sustainable modes into everyday journeys, supporting economic growth and reducing carbon. This will be achieved through an innovative programme of workplace and school engagement, and an ambitious expansion of the recent LSTF (\"Local Sustainable Transport Fund\") and STTY (\"Sustainable Transport Transition Year\") programmes.",
