        "description": "Rutland County Council requires the services of appropriately licensed Bus & Coach operators, and Hackney Carriage / Private Hire operators, to provide Local Buses, Home to School, Home to College and some Social Care transport on a number of bus / coach and taxi routes. Some routes require vehicles with wheelchair access. Tender documents show the routes available at the date of this Notice. There is a price per mile option for any route which arises after the submission of this Notice. Changes to routes may occur during the tender process, and / or during the currency of the contract. The transport provision is for a mix of ages, and, particularly for the SEN taxis, for a range of abilities. Some of the taxi routes, which are defined in the tender documents, will require an escort (passenger assistant) with a suitable first aid qualification. Drivers and escorts will need satisfactory DBS checks. There are two Lots: Lot 1: Local Buses Lot 2: Taxi Contracts Further details are to be found in the tender documents and the Schedule of routes.",
