An extra vehicle has been identified as a need within the ground's maintenance section of the Council. 1.2. PROJECT BRIEF Quotes for the design and build of a new ground's maintenance vehicle for the Estates team. The vehicle must be able transport ride on mowers, fuel, and small hand-held equipment The requirements of the vehicle are as follows: Specification- * Maximum 3.5 tonne * Beaver tail with side boards - To allow for Kubota F3090 with Trimax flail deck. * Secure tie down points * Fuel storage (combi cans) * Full chapter 8 compliance * Amber beacons (front, rear, and above cab) * Room for minimum of 2 operatives - Maximum of 3 operatives * Tool storage pod (if room allows) * Hands free phone connectivity BTC would prefer to capital purchase the vehicle however operational lease options may be considered.
