We refer to the above procurement for the provision of Street Lighting Repairs, Maintenance and Replacement Works Contract. The Council writes to notify you that the procurement for the DN726215 for the provision of Street Lighting Repairs, Maintenance and Replacement Works Contract has been abandoned. The decision not to proceed with this procurement is due to the fact that at the conclusion of the award procedure in question, no bidder has been selected to perform the contract. Please note that the Council intends to commence a new procurement process for the provision of Street Lighting Repairs, Maintenance and Replacement Works at the earliest opportunity following a review of the scope of the requirement and procurement documentation. The Council must ensure that continuity of service for this provision is maintained whilst the new procurement progresses, therefore the Council shall continue to contract with the existing contractor in the interim and until the new procurement has concluded. Therefore a new opportunity will be published in due course.",
