"description": "The Royal Navy will host an Artificial Intelligence Adoption workshop at Action Stations, College Road HM Naval Base, Portsmouth PO1 3LJ England on Wed 19 April 2023. This workshop forms part of ongoing work within the Royal Navy to produce an AI adoption plan and a corresponding implementation plan. The Royal Navy will present, review, and refine the draft outputs produced, with those industry partners for whom AI is of salient business interest. The aim of this engagement is to spark a meaningful conversation between the Royal Navy and industry partners on the topics of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and related digital and software systems. This will inform the recommendations made within the Royal Navy's AI adoption plan and shape the manner of their ongoing industry engagement on the subject. AI is an increasingly pressing issue for future readiness; this will be the first time that the Royal Navy has shared its thinking on the future of this developmental pathway. There will be no charge for attendance at the seminar and attendees are expected to meet their own travel costs. There will be a maximum capacity of 50 industry attendees with a limit of 1 attendee per organisation. Full information in the attached notice",
