This standard requires a professional qualification to be undertaken. Only part of the vendor/professional qualification syllabus is delivered during the course pipeline training and there is a requirement for an external training provider to map and deliver the remaining elements of the qualification to aid certification to all RN personnel for a period of 4 years from start of delivery. In order to not disadvantage legacy ratings, there is also a requirement to provide an optional on-line solution to deliver the vendor/professional qualification training and certification for a period of 12 months, from start of delivery.",
