The Fastrack network is well established and provides fast, reliable and efficient transport across Kent Thameside using a route which includes dedicated Busways and traffic priority measures within a growth area undergoing significant development and regeneration. The service runs Monday to Sunday to a high frequency timetable with a Peak Vehicle Requirement of 12/13 vehicles to provide essential access to businesses, education, healthcare and shopping facilities. A high specification vehicle with minimum emission levels will maintain both a reliable service and brand reputation standards. The opportunity included running the Fastrack B Bus Service with the operator absorbing all operational costs, retaining all income from passengers, and paying the Council a fee per bus travelling on the specified Fastrack busway.",
