Over the last few years, CPI have been continuing to develop printable electronic circuitry using screen printing for pattering conductive silver, and dielectric inks. This has now extended into using screen printing techniques for printing sensor elements for inclusion into larger structures such as batteries. Rotary screen printing is the preferred scale-up route for moving to a continuous system; CPI currently has a SPG Prints rotary screen print unit integrated into a bespoke roll to roll coating system made by VDL ETG. CPI are looking to tender for a supplier for rotary screens suitable for use in the existing system.
