With over 50 offices of various sizes, Jarrow Business Centre accommodates an IT consultancy, security services and utilities management businesses to name a few. There are also light assembly units and manufacturing units on site. The proposed project shall be to refurbish 700m2 of general industrial commercial space and a further 120m2 of ancillary office space at Jarrow Business Centre to create 6 advanced manufacturing units. Works shall comprise of, but is not limited to, demolition and clearance of existing walls, services and the creation of openings; construction of new walls, services and finishes; new doors, external works and signage.
