These proposals have been supported by the AONB Board and local authorities and a formal request was put to Natural England by the AONB Board proposing a variation to the AONB boundary based on an early study by Hankinson Duckett Associates (HDA) in 2013. In December 2013 Natural England's Board confirmed it would take forward a project to determine if the AONB boundary should be varied and to define a recommended boundary.",
