One of the key activities of the Helping Hand scheme has been to provide support to those families would normally receive Free School Meal. This offer has been provided to families during each Holidays. The number of eligible pupils has been approx.14,000. We also provide support via this route to other families who we have been informed are financially vulnerable and would benefit from this support. This support has been provided through the utilisation of a digital code scheme that is distributed to all eligible families. The Council operates other initiatives to provide grocery and non-grocery vouchers. This procurement is a further competition through Crown Commercial Service framework RM6255 Voucher Schemes.",
