The Provider will be expected to run an online library service for the Public Health Directorate Staff and Council Directorates including through access to the BASE Libraries. The Base-Library Consortium, collectively known as BASE, is run via Base-library.nhs.uk which provides access to the services and collections of NHS libraries throughout Birmingham, Solihull and the Black Country. BASE members can use all 20 BASE libraries - only needing to join once to access over 90,000 resources.
