"description": "Measured Term Contract Expressions of interest The Council of the City of Gloucester (The Council) wishes to invite tenders for carrying out the repair and maintenance of various Council owned or managed buildings. The repair and maintenance includes electrical, mechanical, (gas safe works), roadworks (highway maintenance) and plumbing. This will include reactive maintenance and planned works. In addition to the various building works it will also comprise the maintenance and repair of unrelated external works such as paving, walls, fencing, footbridges, signs, street furniture, drainage, water supply pipes (allotments) within the boundary of the City of Gloucester. Procurement will be via the Restricted procedure. The current programme anticipates commencement of the contract on 1st August 2015 to 31st July 2018 with an option for the Council to offer to extend for a period or periods of up to two years. The closing date for expressing an interest is by 29th April 12 noon. PPQ's will be sent electronically on 30th April 2015 and the closing date for PQQ's to be returned is 15th May 2015 at 12 noon.
