"description": "Contract Title: Under 5's Active Play (with soft play resources) Reference: ESCW (CSF) 4929 The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) is seeking expressions of interest from interested organisations for the above services and / or goods. Description: The provision is for an active physical play session, suitable for young children from 3 months - 4 years, to run for two hours (not including set up and clearing away time) twice a week on a Monday morning (10am - 12noon) and a Wednesday afternoon (1pm - 3pm). The session has to be suitable to be held indoors in a large hall (1,660 sq ft). The organisation must be able to provide their own play equipment, which has to include the provision of soft play resources. Storage space (70 sq ft) for the equipment is provided. The service must be delivered in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance. The key aims of the service are to increase parents' knowledge of healthy lifestyles and understand the benefits for themselves and their children, particularly in relation to physical play. Expected outcomes include parents being more able to provide appropriate opportunities for physical play for their child which supports their gross motor development. The anticipated contract start date is: Monday, 01 June 2015 The estimated value of the contract is: PS22,000 - PS25,000 ; Per Annum For a period of: Initially for the period 01/06/15 - 31/03/16, budgets permitting this could be extended to 31/3/17. Organisations wishing to express their interest are requested to register on the London Tenders Portal ( www.londontenders.org) where the tender documentation will be available for download. You may be required to complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ). Organisations must ensure that access to the system is available to their representatives dealing with the contract. The council will not be liable for the lack of delegated access within the organisation and will not send any documentation regarding the contract, which shall be exclusively available through the portal. Tenderers are responsible for allowing sufficient time to submit their ITT/PQQ. The Council accepts no liability whatsoever for ITT/PQQs that are not submitted due to internet connectivity issues, transmission delays or errors.
