The contract will commence on 1.9.2017 for a period of 3 years. This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful contractor also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of cleaning provision. We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within the secondary school or HE / FE market place, ideally with a strong operational base within the North West of England, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed during the contract term. The scope of the contract covers all housekeeping and cleaning provision within the school. The successful Supplier will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the senior management team within St Edward's College on the contract performance. The service is currently provided by way of an in-house provision and the successful Supplier will be expected under TUPE to meet the current terms and conditions of employment, including that of pension benefit where applicable. The projected cost of cleaning for the first contractual year is 160 000 GBP.
