The contract will also cover emergency cleaning services 24/7/365 for items such as custody cells and police vehicles on an ad-hoc basis. The term of the framework agreement will be 4 years and call-off contracts awarded pursuant to the framework agreement will have an initial term of 3 years with potential extensions for a further 2 years (by way of 1 or more additional periods). The participating bodies are The Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent, The Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Essex Fire and Rescue Service, The Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire, The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire, The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. The procurement will be via Competitive Procedure with Negotiation however no guarantee of business is given.
