The schemes will generally involve the maintenance and repair of existing highways including, inlay, overlay and partial or full reconstruction. The services will generally not consist of patching or small scale resurfacing schemes although patching may form part of wider surfacing schemes. Works include; the provision and maintenance of a traffic management system to enable the works to take place, the removal of existing road marking and road studs and planing out and disposal or recycling of existing surfacing where required, the laying of new surface systems, supplementary civils works such as drainage, kerbing etc. and the after care and the installation of new road marking and road studs.",
