The Employer Requirements are (below) and the Council now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following JCT Design and Build 2016 contract. * To design and construct improvement works to the car park including surfacing of the access driveway from the car park entrance through the site (assumed concrete); building parking spaces off the access driveway (assumed in loose stone or other porous material); surface water drainage and disposal of surface water (with safeguards for potential contamination) not to drain directly into the adjacent River Brue; power supply; lighting; provision of 2no. charging points (including the power supply and charging equipment) for 4no. electric vehicles; bay designation; and pedestrian access demarcation lining; in an estimated period of 8 weeks during which the car park will be closed to the public and under the control of the contractor.",
