Brief Description of Requirement The British Geological Survey (BGS) has a requirement for a waste collection and recycling service at its Headquarters in Keyworth, Nottingham, NG12 5GG. BGS as a public sector organisation is mandated to approach the market to seek the best possible value for money for the public purse. BGS holds ISO14001:2015 accreditation and as such is committed to both waste reduction and high recycling rates. The successful contractor will need to demonstrate how they will achieve high standards of environmental performance. Details of the site are included in the Appendix A which shows the main container locations with other smaller collection points located within buildings throughout the site. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
