The framework will cover a range of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, Open Library technology and Library Management Systems (LMS) services including installation, tagging, service, support, maintenance and additional associated services to include but not limited to project management, on-site supervision, quality control and customer training. Lot 1: Library RFID solutions, self-service technology and additional services - This lot requires Suppliers to supply, install, commission, service, support and maintain equipment for self-service terminals using RFID technologies and open library technology in libraries. Lot 2: Library management systems and associated services - Suppliers must provide either a supplier hosted or client hosted library management system that will keep a record of all activity and transactions which occur within the library. Also provided should be any associated hosted hardware, installation, maintenance and training. The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The total estimated value stated includes the option period. An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.
