Wokingham Borough Council is pleased to announce that it is inviting tenders for this Young Carers support service which includes developing and delivering a personalised service for Young Carers in Wokingham Borough. Those wishing to submit a tender must have demonstrable evidence of: * Working with Young Carers and/or Young People ; * Your understanding of the impact of caring responsibilities on the target client group; * Your ability to work creatively with this target client group in order to meet their needs; * Your ability to assess target client's needs and manage risk for our service users; * Financial stability; * Robust recruitment process; * Effective support planning, risk assessment and review systems; and * Internal monitoring and continuous improvement process to ensure and sustain a high quality service Tender evaluation will also take into account feedback from referees and stakeholders within Wokingham Borough Council where applicable. The Service will be delivered under a three year contract, held with Wokingham Borough Council, with the opportunity of a year on year extension for a further two years, subject to satisfactory performance, funding availability and mutual agreement of the parties. The service contract is expected to commence on 1st July 2016. The Council intends to award the contract based on the most economically advantageous tender. The award criteria that will be used is: Method Statement 40% Price 40% Presentation 20% The Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest, or any tender, submitted.
