Health Education England (HEE) supports the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England by ensuring that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours at the right time and in the right place All GP Specialist Trainees (GPSTs) are required to pass the Membership Examination of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in order to be able to apply for a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the end of their training programme. The MRCGP exam consists of three parts all of which must be passed for completion. The first part is Work Place Based Assessment (WPBA), which is assessed at Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) panels. The other two parts are the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT) and Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA). The initial contract period of three years will be a maximum value of PS450,000 exclusive of VAT. The Authority retains the option to extend the contracts by a further 2 year period. The contract will commence on 1st August 2019, with the actual service commencement date of 1st September 2019.
