This contract will enable continuity of the relevant improvement works and mitigation of the fire risk to the customers, visitors, Bromford staff and other persons engaged at or in the vicinity of Bromford's properties. The contract will also facilitate compliance to the relevant current legislation and fire regulations. The scope of works will broadly include: - replacement, repair and refurbishment of fire doors, frames and associated works; - partial refurbishment of intrinsic passive fire safety measures; - fire resistant glazing; - works related to compartmentation, ironmongery and other sundries; - various works relating to signage; - fire stopping works; - installation of fire collars and smoke/heat detection systems and other electrical works; and - any other repair (including remedial) works to maintain the integrity of passive fire protection. all in accordance with the Contract Specification, all other Contract Documents and all applicable standards, regulations, Statutory Requirements and manufacturers' guidelines / instructions. The successful Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labour, materials, plant, tools and liaison with the relevant Customers (where applicable) for the purpose of arranging access in order to carry out works. The Contractor will not provide the fire risk assessments as these are being completed in-house.
