GCRF is an PS1.5 billion fund announced in 2015 by the UK Government to support cutting edge-research that addresses the challenges faced by developing countries. BEIS is committed to undertaking a robust evaluation of the management and impact of the fund. An inception stage has taken place to develop a theory of change and provide advice on a possible evaluation strategy. We anticipate that the value of the contract for the evaluation will be between PS2.5-PS3million. Full details of this requirement will only be shared with relevant Research Marketplace suppliers when the competition launches in late November.
