History The Golowan Festival has deep roots in the cultural tapestry of our Town. Dating back centuries, it celebrates summer solstice with vibrant processions, music, dance, and community gatherings. Revived in the late 20th century, Golowan has evolved into a dynamic annual event, embodying the town's spirit, fostering a sense of belonging & pride. Golowan is a cherished tradition, showcasing the creativity, resilience and unity of Penzance's diverse community.
