Vocalink is the sole supplier of the UK's Banker's Automated Clearing System (BACS) which forms part of the National Critical Infrastructure (NCI). The OPS (pass-through) exists only to facilitate the transfer of payment file information submitted via Vocalink to Citibank for processing. The OPS itself does not provide any other service, it is a necessary step within the process to separate the overseas file ready for collection and ongoing transmission, following the approved route of submission into Vocalink infrastructure.",
