The delivery of the strategy seeks a redesigned and newly commissioned carers' service that will supplement existing universal services. Delivering services in this way will help carers to find information and support within their own communities and, at the same time, provide extra resource where carers have a higher level of need. It will provide a range of services across Herefordshire in accordance with the needs of carers within communities.
