(Single Supplier Framework) The objective of this model is for the framework supplier to work as a key business partner in the strategic and operational procurement of goods and equipment and associated services by: * Establishing procurement strategies in order to commit to a partnership with DFID; * Providing value for money on every programme/project typically in DFID priority countries; * Ensuring transparency and be able to stand up to both internal and external scrutiny; * Implementing excellence in procurement/contracting service terms and supplier management; * Managing the whole supply chain, including provision of logistics services, customs clearance, duty taxes management and quality management especially of health commodities; * Targeting measured savings from Third Party Suppliers; * For some commodities, where applicable acting as an Agent to DFID and adhering to DFID procurement procedures, associated legislative requirements and adherence to EU Public Procurement Directives.
