Cefas is seeking to commission a communications specialist for 21 months from January 2017 to October 2018 to present information on fishing gear technology developments in a user-friendly and helpful format and disseminate it effectively to those who can use it. This is of particular importance currently because of a demand to assist fishermen to implement the discard ban under the reformed EU Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
