International Vehicle Standards (IVS) division is responsible for the development and implementation of the Department's policy for safer, cleaner and quieter road vehicles. IVS also leads the development of international and domestic regulations covering vehicle related standards. This assessment of costs and benefits will be used by IVS to develop policy options for Ministers on how and whether to mandate these or similar technologies for the GB market.",
