They are an integral part of how the LocalAuthority carries out the duties set out in the Acts above to improve the well-being of young children and reduceinequalities between them The Current service is principally a universal service for families with children aged four and under through thelife of this contract the service will move to providing predominantly targeted Early Help support for families withchildren aged eight years and under.
