The Competency and Values Framework was developed in 2015/16 as a direct response to the College's Leadership Review, published in 2015. The Framework now needs a review of the strategic documents and programmes to synthesise the research and propose key changes to the CVF - this may include changes to the existing competencies or addition/removal of behaviours. Due to the length of time since they were developed, it is now considered that there is a significant need for the rank profiles within the Policing Professional Profiles to be subject to a thorough review and for some ranks inevitably revision.",
